A Chinese court on Monday rejected a request by a man who claimed he had been selling the blue pill for erectile dysfunction.
The court ruled that Viagra had been sold as a sexual enhancement pill for about two years and was approved for sale in China by the European Union. The man, who had not been listed as a defendant in the case, argued that Viagra was still available to men who had been taking the drug for more than a decade. It was claimed that Viagra was a natural alternative to the drugs sold on the market, which is not true, and that the drug had a "chemical and physical side effect".
The court also said the court's decision was "unrealistic".
The judge said the company had been trying to market the drug in China for several years and that the medicine had to be used under strict supervision.
The court heard that although it had approved Viagra to treat erectile dysfunction, it did not have a patent for it.
Viagra was sold by the Chinese firm Pfizer Inc. and sold as an "original drug" in 1998, but its sales were suspended in 2010.
On Friday, the court in Beijing ruled that it had to pay compensation from Pfizer for the loss of profits, and that it had to pay damages from a Chinese court to compensate the victim.
Pfizer said it had received a "numerous" complaint about the case in China, but that it did not believe the court had made any decision based on evidence of its own.
The case is being brought in Beijing, a Beijing-based group that works with government regulators to investigate drug companies.
On Tuesday, Pfizer Inc. said it would appeal the verdict.
"The court's decision is based on substantial evidence presented to the court and the evidence of its own. The court considers the evidence of the plaintiffs in this matter to be sufficient and will resolve any remaining disputes," the company said.
The court's decision is "a significant blow to Pfizer and the company's reputation as a leader in the field of pharmaceuticals and has continued to work with the Chinese government and other relevant countries to promote the drug and to establish its presence in China".
It also took up the case in China.
In a statement on Friday, the company said, "We are disappointed that the court acted responsibly and with a reasonable degree of risk, but we are committed to holding Pfizer accountable for what it did."
A spokesman for Pfizer said: "Pfizer and the Chinese government have been involved in numerous disputes over the issue and have always acted responsibly. We will not stand by and let the court decide this case. Pfizer is not under any pressure, and the issue will be taken seriously by China's government."

And so I started to study about ED medications and the results were good. I started to study a lot about sex, and I also began to study the role of ED medications in the management of this problem. I worked with a group of men, and they were all using Viagra, and they were all using the pills as well. I knew that ED medications were not as effective as they were designed to be, and that the drugs worked for a lot of men. But, the good news was that there were other options in the market. There were several things that were available, and so we began to look at different treatment options. It was important that men with ED be able to use these medications. We were also looking at ways to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. And that’s what we talked about, because there were other ways to reduce the risk of heart disease. I worked with a group of men in the military who had been using Viagra, and they were all on the pill. They took it for a few years and then they started to have side effects.
